What is Religious Life?
Religious Life is a gift of oneself to God in a life-long consecration. Brother, Sisters and Religious Priests are members of the group which make up Religious Life. A person called to Religious Life seeks to live for God, the Church and the world, professing the vows of celibacy, poverty and obedience. This dedication to God is an act of love and one of the expressions of baptismal consecration. A Religious lives in community with a specific charism, prayer life and dedication to a ministry for the People of God.
